The Tech, Without the Fluff
We set this heater up as a 400V system. Why? Because most factory lines are already wired for 400V three-phase. So you can just plug it in, no extra transformers needed. This also means the current is lower for the same wattage, which keeps the wiring simpler and puts less strain on your connections. The lamp itself is a 300mm tube. That size lets it slide into tight spots—narrow channels, small enclosures, compact heating modules. We matched the wattage to the tube length to pack in serious heat, but not so much that it burns the element out. The goal was power and longevity, not a quick burnout.
What It’s Built From
Inside the quartz tube, you’ll find a halogen element. Quartz was the obvious choice because it can handle the shock of turning on and off again and again, and it stays rock-solid at those scorching filament temperatures. The halogen cycle keeps the element clean as it runs, so the heat output stays strong over time. We also coated the tube to focus the energy where you want it—strong infrared, less of that harsh, unwanted glare. And for the connections, we went with an R7s connector. It’s a standard, tough two-pin setup that’s quick to install and can take the constant vibration of a busy factory floor.
